Calvin W. DeWitt, Ph.D., MCSE, Sr. Consultant, President Dr. Calvin W. DeWitt founded Southwest Business Solutions, Inc. in 1988. Prior to 1988, Dr. DeWitt worked for several large corporations in capacities ranging from Research Scientist, Senior Programmer Analyst, Project Coordinator, Manager of Management Science Development, and Worldwide Coordinator of Operations Research. Dr. DeWitt was involved in the analysis, design, development, and support of scientific software systems involving process control and process optimization as well as the analysis, design, development, and support of business systems involving capital budgeting, inventory, ERD systems, and financial/accounting systems. These systems were large systems ranging from $1 million to over $200 million. Dr. DeWitt has also published over 30 books and articles on topics such as the application of IT for providing business solutions, return on investment for the application of IT, mathematical algorithms for scheduling and nonlinear programming, database design, and the usage of instructional technology in the classroom. Over the last 15 years, he has developed an expertise in designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and securing local area and wide area networks. This includes both wired and wireless networks. His formal education includes a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, MS in Mathematics, and BS in Mathematics and Computer Science. Dr. DeWitt also is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

Kevin Crouch, Sr. Consultant Kevin has a BBA in Computer Information Systems as well as a BBA in Business. Mr. Crouch’s expertise includes software development in the areas of database applications and web based systems. Also, Kevin has over 10 years experience in the design, installation, and troubleshooting of local and wide area networks. In addition, he is an expert in supporting Microsoft Exchange email systems.

Buddy Fulgham, Sr. Network Engineer Mr. Fulgham has over 30 years in the Computer Services Department at Eastern New Mexico University. Buddy has a wealth of knowledge and experience in designing, installing, and supporting large local area and wide area networks. Buddy has served in several capacities ranging from Director of Computer Services to network engineer. Buddy provided hands on support for a network with over 3000 computers; located in 6 different geographical locations; and connected via fiber, microwave, and copper. Buddy also has expertise in network security and in implementing TCP telephony.

Dean Pergeson, Technician Dean's responsibilities and expertise is in the area of desktop support. Dean is an expert on desktop operating systems, applications, and hardware. Due to the recent increase in viruses and spyware, Dean has developed an expertise in the removal and prevention of viruses and spyware.

Robert Goff, Technician Robert has a BBA in Business Computer Information Systems. His expertise is in the area of desktop and server support, which include operating systems, applications, and hardware. Due to the recent increase in viruses and spyware, Robert has developed an expertise in the removal and prevention of viruses and spyware. Robert has also helped create and maintained client web sites as well as implement cloud based software and services including cloud backup services.
